Red Twig Dogwood

Red Twig Dogwood, Cornus sericea, is a small/medium shrub (6' -9' height) that grows well in full sun or part shade in moist soils. Blooms attract butterflies and the white berry clusters are an important food for birds. In winter, stems are a vibrant red. Prune every few years for best winter color. Can be used in rain gardens or border hedges.
