Prairie Willow, 3-gallon

Prairie Willow (Salix humilis) is a small/medium shrub that grows well in full to partial sun in drier or even gravely soils. Bees enjoy the nectar, and the dense growth provides good cover for birds. Humans like it too! As Indiananativeplants.org says, "with its rounded form, densely hairy buds and twigs, and pretty female flowers, this small willow lends itself to landscape use."
